#happilyeverafterTook two separate walks today. A big walk with Tyra and Cora/Milkshake, our active dogs. Both wanted to be carried by the end. Then a more mellow walk with Rose, Lady and Violet. All are relaxing now. ... See MoreSee Less
PLEASE SHARE: These two handsome seniors were both surrendered puppy mill dogs. They are estimated to be 14, unaltered, and good with dogs and people. A little poodle man and daschaund that each need a hero. We will take care of the vetting if you will open up your home and help us save them. We can't take them in the barn because our Old Man is aggressive towards unaltered males. If you can help please email firstname.lastname@example.org or send us a PM. Please help us save them and let them know what its like to be loved and the puppy they never got to be inside. ... See MoreSee Less
Are they house trained do they get along with other dogs, kids etc
Do they need to go together?
Wish I was closer😥
They both speak to me! I have a puppy mill surrender that looks so much like that little poodle, and I love him so! And the doxie tugs at my childhood heartstrings! So happy both these sweet babies have a safe home to go to now ❤️
Thank you for showing these babies the love they deserve.
God bless everyone who is stepping up
Glad the barn has them, maybe they can get the love they deserve.
Wish I was closer I'll take them
Jackie Broom we love the doxies! Wanna foster?
Megan Lange...don't you have a thing for doxies?! 😉 <3
He really is, to me, one of the most beautiful pups I've ever seen...not just how physically beautiful he is, but his eyes have this 'knowing' in them. I even asked him, "You're an angel, aren't you?" I believe this sweet boy is. <3
Feel better old man. Sending prayers of love, hugs and kisses.
Just want to thank everyone again for everything you all do to make A&F so truly special. Over 140 dogs have been saved and as of today only 5 are in the barn!!! We have committed to 13 more pups over the next few weeks but because we love and care for all our dogs like our own we attract others who want to be a part of us and love our dogs too. Good attracts good and everything about A&F is exemplified with love, even during the heartache of losing them, we give them dignity and hold them as they leave this world in peace. I will never be able to thank all of you enough, from the behind the scenes paperwork, vet visits, transports, phone calls, emails, fb posts, visits, fb sharing, everything is noticed and so deeply appreciated not just by me but by all of the dogs in the barn and in foster and forever homes. Fosters and adopters and volunteers, all of you have saved their lives. I think about how far we have come from literally nothing in such a short time and am humbled by all the support and how much each of these dogs lives are enriched by you. Bernie was our queen, Penny was our princess, Gump is getting another second chance, Ginger and Bobbie were hidden in a basement and now in loving families, Daisy lived her whole life outside and moved to the Plaza. Scooby was abandoned. Pryia left behind and forgotten. The list of euth list pups Howard, Stuart, Tinley, Amy, Beau, Moe, Curly, Larry, Willy, Billy, Sheldon, Loki, Max, Billy, Murphy, Simon, Sasha, Bella, Andie, Abbie, Zara, Aspen, Flospy, Rex, Hershey, Sweet Pea, Kia, Hope, Paisly, Maggie, Sophia, Boots, Sampson, Sunny, Thelma, Louise, Sammy, Betty, Chip & Dale, Boomer, Gabbie, Marco Tank, Lucy, Old man Humphrey and Harris, and the pups whose owners passed away and had no one to help Odie, Tyco, Dorothy, Spirit, Lincoln, Greta, Spicy, owners paid to be put down Whitney, Black Beauty, Shadow, Black Dawg...the list goes on and on and will keep going on and on because all of YOU. Just had to take a moment and thank everyone which I will continue to do again and again because we live month to month with paying vet bills and somehow, someway we always make things happen. I cant thank everyone enough. I sometimes cant believe how special and amazing this little red barn really is.
One of the cutest memories of Gump & Mama. All this barn holds is love. ... See MoreSee Less
Sent this to Gary Lezak in a private page, and also invited him to 'like our page'.
This is priceless.
Thanks you and all your volunteers for all you do! It’s amazing! I hope to make it out there eventually to volunteer with my daughter. I hope to bring some others with me once the weather gets better too. I hope god continues to keep blessing you abundantly so you can keep doing what you do.
Thank you for saving them all 🐶💙❤🙏😊
💜💜💜 I’ve never been to the barn (we live in Tulsa) but I absolutely love seeing all of these beautiful souls in my fb feed everyday. Thank you for creating heaven on earth for these sweet babies!
I love seeing gump and momma
Thank you for everything you do! You are amazing.
You and your organization are truly amazing. You have come far in a really short time. Only good things to come in the future. I for one am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to adopt my sweet Bella from you.
We are learning that now. David brought home Lucky yesterday, we can see the sweetness in him and we are waiting patiently for him to know he’s loved. Already see some little changes, eye contact is better, he seems more relaxed in his surroundings. He has a small area that he can feel safe and yet see what’s going on. Haven’t introduced him to the other fur friends yet but all are very aware of each other. We are excited to show him the world isn’t always a scary place.
The ones I always look for, they will surprise you and love you more that you may be ready for, and not always quickly. I've had 4 with issues, be patient.
Or FOSTER one of those! That's the best. They just need out. Sometimes they've been through so much or been in that cage way too long or don't do well with that much change. They just need a home and some love.
